Kenny Moorer began working as an evangelist with the College View Church of Christ on June 6, 2013.

He began preaching during his college years while a student at Florida College and Harding (College) University.  He holds several gospel meetings each year, plus for the past four years, has made preaching/teaching trips to Costa Rica which he plans to continue.  Prior to coming to College View, Kenny worked with the University Church of Christ in Tampa, Florida where he served as an evangelist (since 1981) and also as a shepherd (since 2011).  During those same years (1981-2013), Kenny worked in various capacities at Florida College, a private, liberal arts college located in Temple Terrace, Florida. His work there included several administrative positions: public relations, admissions, enrollment management, and athletic director. From 1994 to 2013 he was a member of the faculty, and also coached both the men’s and women’s basketball teams during part of those years.

On June 13, 1987, Kenny married Beth (Hibbett) Moorer, who is a Florence native and grew up worshipping at College View. Kenny and Beth have three children: Sam, Jenny, and Bradley.
