Brother Moorer delivered a lesson to the congregation focusing on the important message contained within the book of Habakkuk and how the prophet's writings speak directly to the challenges facing both Judah in ancient times as well as Christians today. Habakkuk's questioning of God in the face of injustice plaguing the land, and lament over the rising violence, collapsed rule of law, and what was perceived as God's lack of intervention is something that we struggle with today. We were encouraged to remember that God is in control and to live by faith during uncertain times.
