Brother Dvorak discussed the Roman Catholic Church's claims regarding the biblical canon and the differences between their canon and the commonly used 66 books of the Bible. We looked at questions about the canonicity and authenticity of apocryphal books – the books that the Catholic church would add to the Old Testament. We considered inspiration of Scripture, discussing how God revealed His Word through the Holy Spirit to men for public teaching and writing and the God determines canonicity, not man. God has the power to deliver His Word without error and ensure its preservation through providential means.
