Brother Moorer’s lesson focused on how prayer, specifically praying for leaders as exhorted by Paul in 1 Timothy 2, is the primary way for Christians to engage with and respond to a chaotic world. 1 Timothy conveys that prayer, particularly lifting up those in authority, allows us to make a meaningful difference in the world while remaining steadfast in our faith even amid difficulties. Prayer enables Christians to spread the gospel peaceably and live godly lives undisturbed by the chaos around them.
