Brother Junkin presented the question: Do Miracles Occur Today? He began by distinguishing the modern, broad understanding of miracles from the specific, supernatural events described in Scripture, defining a biblical miracle as an extraordinary, supernatural act of God carried out to fulfill His divine purposes. Examining the Gospels, he highlighted how the writers used different terminology - signs, wonders, and miracles - to validate the authority of Jesus through miraculous works. He reaches the conclusion that he does not believe miracles occur today, nor does he see them as necessary, given the sufficiency of the resurrection of Jesus Christ as the greatest miracle and the ultimate validation of His divine authority.
