Brother Moorer discussed the challenge of self-deception in the Christian life, emphasizing that our biggest problem is often our own heart. He referenced Jeremiah 17:9 and Revelation 3:15-19 to illustrate how self-deception can lead to a false sense of security and complacency and urged us to question their our virtue, seek counsel from others, and listen to God with a commitment to change. He warned that self-deception can lead to a seared conscience and a lack of accountability. Brother Moorer encouraged us to practice self-reflection and honesty, asking us to come clean and live a life grounded in Jesus.
